GRIMM News for Veterans!

If you don’t know A Rock or Something’s co-founder Miah Washburn will appear on episode 12 of GRIMM this month on NBC. Miah will play a pit-fighting creature in the episode entitled LAST GRIMM STANDING.

We also contacted GRIMM and the extra casting has agreed to use veterans at A Rock or Something as extras on the show! So if you want to be an extra on a successful NBC primetime show and you’re a veteran get a hold of sean@arockorsomething.com and we’ll talk.

A call to veterans in the Portland area!

We are looking for a few good cameramen… or camerawomen… and assistant directors, lighting technicians, sound board technicians, et cetera. If you don’t know how to do these things – perfect! This Tuesday night will be the orientation class held at Metro East Community Media. They will teach you all you need to know.

We are looking for new members to enlist in our AROS film crew. You don’t need to be a veteran, or a family member of a veteran to get involved, but of course that is preferred.

A Rock or Something Productions will have a monthly show aired and recorded at Metro East Community Media. The show content will include but not be limited to interviews with veterans, short films starring and written by veterans and their family members, fiction/essay/poetry readings, and monologues.

The show will be staffed, written, produced, and hosted by veterans, their family members, or other people directly affected by the military lifestyle. If you are interested in getting involved in our new monthly film project email Sean@arockorsomething.com.
